More information might be helpful.
- What kind of system are you using?
- Are you using auto/filtered EDA or unfiltered?
- What kind of electrodes? Also, where did you get them and how long have you used them.?
I have at least one set of s/steel electrodes that are extraordinarily noisy. The one's I use most of the time are Axciton/brass plates that were at one time plated with nickel or something. They provide as clean a signal as the wet sticky-gels (in FR/EMT training they told us 'if its wet and sticky and not your's, then don't touch it' - but that's another matter). Some of the equipment manufacturers monitor this forum, and may be able to contact you. Perhaps you have already contacted your vendor. r ------------------ "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. First, as already asked, it is helpful to know what instrument you are using and how long ago you purchased it (as sometimes there are problems found and fixed after the product was shipped). In an unshielded electrical cord (power cord) with the lack of a pass filter installed for the current you can get feedback in the EDA or activity sensor, as I have seen this. Try separating the two cords a foot at a time to see if the problem subsides. If so, it is probably the problem. And if so, I am sure that the instrument manufacture will help you solve it.
